He has good humor bits most of the time, too many liberal guests. Despite his demeanor, Imus is a good guy who does a lot of good for people with his ranch. I respect him and will listen if I cant get anything better.

Gets great political guests, helps kids with cancer and like any free thinking person makes mistakes. At least he has the balls to have the people he upset on the radio.

i finally could watch him when he stopped chewing gum on msnbc. my luck, he gets fired over nothing shortly thereafter. i have not watched msnbc at all since. his radio show wasn't affected by the gum chewing of course, and was pretty funny if you could sit through the saturation advertising.

I'm glad he's back, and the 7:30 interviews are usually good. But the venum is gone, and so is the edge. I miss the Cardinal and I miss Bernie. I know the jokes were incorrect, but they were funny and since they offended everyone, they really offended no one. I'm hoping Imus will regrow some balls, and put the fun back into the show. And lose the fat schmuck detective.

A bit long in the (false) tooth, isn't he? Aren't there products to help with that....denture cream or whatever....He should have gone out at the top of his game or wherever he was when he left before. This is elder abuse - let him go and end his misery.

UPDATE: I decided to rewrite my original review because I dont want peeps thinking Im some radical Al Sharton supporter, which Im not.I know we all as Americans have freedom of speech, but shouldn't public speakers like Imus be held to a higher standard?? Everyone makes mistakes, but how many times can Imus  continue to make offensive statements and still expect an apology to fix everything??

I never heard his radio show, but any time I saw him in the media, interviewed or excerpts from his show, he seemed like a curmudgeonly bore.  That's an easy act to pull off and guys like him are a dime a dozen on the airwaves.  He won't be missed.

I never cared for the show anyways, so I really don't care.  He did a dumb thing and it got way too much attention from the likes of Al Sharpin and Jessie Jackson.  He met with the team and apoligized.  However....when sponcers pull out then the money for the show goes away.  He will probably be better off for it....like Howard Stern he will probably end up on Sirius or XM making tons of money where he can say what he wants.

Hey Imus sorry for what happened. I agree it wasn't smart but dont agree in losing your job. If people dont like what someone says just don't tune in.Another thing Jackson and Sharpton I mean the Joker and the Riddler have no credibility with a lot of us Imus cuz they are such hypocrits who should mind their own business.

Anyone who apologizes (particularly to liars and racists like the Al "I love imprisoning white boys for fake rape" Sharpton) deserves to lose their job.  Two weeks is not enough...can him completely.  I wasn't a fan of Imus before this recent incident, but I really despise him now that he is an apologist.  Good luck with a new career, sucker.

If a black man said it, it would be laughed at like a rap song... This comes from a group of people like Sharpten and Jackson who lay in wait for strife agaist whites. If they are so rightous, why is it they only upstand for blacks? is this equallism? No its not. Why is it a black comedian can "talk like a nerd in making fun of whites"? Do I need to even ask a question which insults even my intell? No I dont. We all know that racism is not of love... We ought to use love more and stop the nonsense of pointing fingers. Imus do not appoligize to wolfs who cant wait for issues....

OK. Everybody's real upset about Imus' offensive comment. But, we're playing with the 1st Amendment here, and I doubt you could make much of a case that this is "hatespeech. " Lots of people have said a lot worse and kept their jobs, particularly in the radio industry. This might be a situation everyone should look at with a slightly cooler head. If the Rutgers team wants to sue, collectively or individually, it might be difficult to find a case for "malice" in this but firing might be a bit extreme, simply because the women on the team are offended. The guy's been on the radio a long time. He's offended millions of Catholics, Jews, politicians of every stripe and color and many others. Are we all sure that the sensibilities of this small group of women is of such monumental impotance? Proceed with caution.

What a fossil! This man is as much a cowboy as I'm the Pope! The reason for the up collar and bandana is to hide the saggy, loose, wrinked vagina he's growing on his neck. I was listening to him one day and I couldnt believe what I was hearing. He was sucking on a throat lozenge and between every few word you could hear the "clickety click" of the lozenge hitting his teeth. Thats...disgusting.

I don't understand WHY MSNBC insists on having this guy on, I flip channels in the am to see what is going on with the news, don't watch Imus very often at all but am FACINATED by that ugly, fat child of his (and a vegan too?? And Imus is always calling others fat???) who has NO manners in the least, before Thanksgiving saw this child call someone a prick on national TV and his parents thought it was cute and funny!! THAT is child abuse to not raise a child better than that--and to think he has children at his ranch? Come on, I now boycott his ranch sponsers like Wrangler. Lately I saw his wife on and she is such a yuck, can see why she married him--both are totally distasteful (ie like poor white trailer trash), and she was talking to him with such hatred on her face, she really, REALLY hates him, you could see it on her face when she was insulting him! Glad the two losers found each other but the state should step in and take that boy away from both of them. A friend who watches... Read more

I used to "half" listen to him until today. I listened because he was too damn scary to look at. His comment to Terry Bradshaw about which celebrity lesbian could he "cure" spoke volumes on what a scumbag Imus truly is. If Don Imus thinks that his childrens ranch is giving him a one way ticket to heaven he better think again. For all of the negativity he spews about others will never fly in the end. Time to tell this over-paid coke-head/alcoholic nothing important to say "celebrity" to retire. And no, I am not a female or a lesbian.

Here's a guy I listened to religiously for years. Yet three or so years ago I couldn't take him anymore. All he cares about is himself and how his realtionship is with all of his media and political buddies. What a suck up!!! Hard to listen to someone who tells you that everything is wrong if it doesn't agree with his view and who at the end of his show, gets in his limo and is taken back to his penthouse overlooking Central Park, or his house in Connecticut or his ranch in New Mexico. The voice of the common man he is not.

This ranch deal is dragging the show down. Getting rid of Sid was a step up. He is getting driven too much by the television angle. The Contessa Brewer problem was forced on him because of tv.

i used to love his show.but he's turned into a conspiracy lib.he's so wrong and negative on the iraq war.to undermine the effort doesn't help the troops.it can hurt morale for winning.the wmd's had to go somewhere,s.h.used them to kill 300,000 of his own people.he broke 17 un resolutions.we all mourn the deaths of our heroes(troops).we have to keep positive for victory.80%of the military support president bush.

Really funny, but what he said about Contessa Brewer was way over the line. I don't think I would have said some of that stuff about anyone, let alone sweet & sexy Contessa. He's lucky he just got a warning. You can't say that kind of crap over the air and hope to get away with it!

Imus is great I love his show I watch an hour and a half in the am and tape the rest. But it was a mistake to let Contessa go. I turned it on saw Sid in her chair. Sid is ok but not in Contessa's chair. We want Contessa bring her back.

I used to think he was very funny way back in the 70's. He does sometimes have interesting guests. Then again, he'll often have overblown self-promoting clowns like Ann Coulter on as well. Imus can occasionally offer a cogent or pointed observation, but for the most part he seems to be a tired, irascible old man.

I listen to Imus cause it is one of the few places you can hear politicians come close to saying what they really think and it isn't in a 45 second Today Show program format where they have to kick the sec. of state off the set to get to a cooking segment. Having said that what is with the ranch scam? Thought it was a scam the first time I hear it. These morons actually cut checks to a guy that makes 20 mil a year for his estate. He goes on a 10 min. rant about the ranch and then some moron gives him 5,000. Dude pay for your own house and stop hiding from taxes with this so called charity. The IRS should get him. Oh and then there is NetJets. Like they don't comp him for that.

His show used to have some good moments. They are now gone and have been replaced by hours of talking about his kid wife and ranch intersresed with interviews of mostly liberal weenies who if they ever heard his opening chant made back in the 70's would have called for him to be barred from the airwaves. I think all who come on his show looking for airtime should be mabe to sprew it..My new name for the show is boring in the morning, the man has lost his fast ball.

I find this man just plain boring and dumb, and his 'sidekicks' are just obnoxious, apparently so juvenile that the only thing they can comment on about a woman is if she is pretty or not--just nasty sexual stuff from them, NOT if she has a mind--always SUPER critical of someone who might pack a few extra pounds on him, or especially her. Yet, Imus looks like death warmed over, a VERY unattractive man, as with all the MEN he works with during his show--find it funny but typical that the ugliest men are the most critical of women and usually only value a woman as a sexual being for THEIR pleasure rather than a person! 80% of the show reminds me of a high school locker room type talk from his partners on the show. He sometimes CAN do a good interview, but lately (I sometimes tune in on MSNBC if he is having a good guest) he rattles on like he is a victim of altzheimers, making no sense at all. I quite frankly am surprised that his wife puts up with all the woman bashing on his radio sh... Read more
